2021 People’s Choice Award Winner Our existence on planet Earth is a delicate balance between the first and final moments. A tightly strung cord that Mother Nature lengthens and shortens without notice or explanation. The installation of BUTTERFLY TREE explores the relationship between modern technology and organic, ecological rhythms. Using images of butterflies, the sculptor carefully ponders to examine indiscriminate practices that may harm the natural world. The visual image encourages us to rethink ideas and respect the delicate balance of our human race. The sculptor hopes to generate stewardship to seek a sustainable balance.
