The Foundation

The Salina Arts and Humanities Foundation, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation, was formed in 1989. In service to the mission, the Foundation increases public/private interaction by enhancing fund-raising ability; leveraging public funds in a way not otherwise possible.

MISSION STATEMENT:

To support and further the development of and public awareness of and interest in the fine and performing arts and humanities in Salina, Kansas, and be a supporting organization to the City of Salina, Kansas, its Arts and Humanities Commission, and it Arts and Humanities Department, as a separate and independent, but closely related supporting organization.

Foundation members are chosen through a process of nomination.
