Community Services and Programs

logo_sa.gif - 10448 Bytest.gif - 279 Byteshe Salina Arts and Humanities Commission creates a community forum for the arts through services and programs that are ever responsive to change, while reflecting the measure of time. The number of performers who've graced the Art a la Carte concert stages over the last twenty years is reaching into the thousands, and the Spring Poetry Series remains an established tradition of astounding national prominence.

In addition to other wide-ranging progrmas and services, the Commission is engaged in bringing forth new methods of creating access for artistic interaction with the launch of a Cultural Community Website. Based on the Salina Arts and Cultural Calendar, our new online presence will help people connect with an array of exhibits, concerts, classes, events performances and many other exciting happenings in Salina and the region - all with the click of a button!
