Any highly skilled visual, performing, literary and interdisciplinary artist who has demonstrated a seriousness to his/her art form, but who has not yet firmly established a career as a full-time practicing artist is invited to apply.

Grants are available only to residents of Saline County, Kansas, who have been in residence for at least one year prior to the application due date (September 1, 2009.)

Application cannot be made online. Applications must be postmarked on or before the deadline date (September 1, 2009) to be eligible for consideration. Send to: Salina Arts and Humanities Commission, P.O. Box 2181, Salina, KS 67402-2181.
