Celebrate Art a la Carte
Art a la Carte Concerts begin September 2nd
Salina Arts and Humanities announces the opening of the fall season of Art a la Carte on September 2, 2011. The season’s opening concert will feature Bruce Lacy and Culture Crazze, a musical group playing rock, soul, and smooth jazz. Concerts are held at Robert Caldwell Plaza between the City-County Building and the Public Library. The half-hour performances begin at 12:20 p.m. each Friday through September.
Art a la Carte concerts feature local and regional talent, both amateur and professional. The schedule includes acoustic pop, jazz, Cajun/folk, and vocal music. Some notable performers are saxophonist Joseph Vincelli, and Carter Green of the folk group “The Mudbugs.”
